State owned telecom service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) is now busy in roll out of 4G networks across the country. In Kolkata circle, BSNL starts rolling out 4G network since May 2024.
However me, living in suburbs of Kolkata did not find BSNL 4G signal in May, June, July, August. However since the begining of September 2024 I am getting BSNL 4G signals on my mobile phones.

Anyway I got another 4G signal live - 12345 4G. I don't know whose 4G is this.
Note that BSNL 4G is on 700MHz, 2100MHz, and 2500MHz. Presently one can enjoy BSNL 4G at the price of 3G - and I guess it will be offered til BSNL 4G goes live across the country. BSNL 4G may go live across the country by October 2025 - till then you can enjoy 4G at 3G price.
With 4G and cheaper plans, BSNL is making miracle now. As per TRAI data, BSNL adds 2,94,000 subscribers in July 2024 when all 3 private operators - Jio, Airtel and Vi hiked their tariff upto 25-30%.
