What's your operator offering to you? How strong is the LTE signal of your operator? There are many apps on Android can show you that.
But if you like to see the 4G signal details like it's on which band or does it offer carrier aggregation you don't have many apps to help you to get that details.
Jio's NetVelocity app (Play Store) is exclusive for JIO SIM users, who can check their Jio signal is which band - 2300, 1800 or 850 MHz. Though the app doubles as speed tester (that segment works for all SIM or on any WiFi service), it unable to show how much is the bandwidth or you're on LTE-CA or not.
If you use JioFi you can check band and bandwidth, on the web portal -
Below are the three apps I have used.
Interestingly these apps work fine on One Plus 6, it's showing half-baked data on LG K8 (2017). May be because K8 does not support dual LTE/CA or it's a low spec-ed phone the apps do not show the LTE/3G bandwidth nor the band. I checked with Vodafone SIM swapped on SIM 1 and 2 slot, it didn't help. They even did not show band/bandwidth data of Jio, though Jio's NetVelocity app shows the band.
