Congrats India for Completing One Year Without Polio

In the midst of huge political unrest (Lokpal & corruption) and Govt's decision to control social networking sites an advance was made in India.

You should not miss this milestone achieved by India - A complete year without new Polio cases!

It is great news to share, also being a medical professional. Well there are still some samples to be examined, if these goes negative WHO will declare India, once noted as world's epicentre of polio, has stopped indigenous transmission of wild poliovirus.

Currently there are 3 major countries - Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan contributes most of the new polio cases.
