শ্রীরামপুরঃ ইম্যাকুলেট কনশেপশন চার্চ

Immaculate Conception refers to the doctrine that God preserved the Virgin Mary from the taint of original sin from the moment she was conceived; it was defined as a dogma of the Roman Catholic Church in 1854. 

এই সুন্দর রোমান ক্যাথলিক চার্চটি 1776 সালে নির্মিত হলেও, এই গির্জার ইতিহাস আরো পুরোনো। 1764 সালে ইউরোপীয় বসতি স্থাপনকারীদের জন্য একটি ছোট চ্যাপেল তৈরি করা হয়েছিল, সেটিই পরে পুনঃগঠিত হয়ে এই ইম্যাকুলেট কনশেপশন চার্চ-এ পরিণত হয়।
