Digital Wallet services are booming in India, and Reliance Jio can't take away their hands on this digital services and has launched JioMoney. Though it's not yet to be released for all customers, and mainly being used by RIL employees, you can still download the iron before polishing for here: https://appstore.jiomoney.com/

There are already several digital wallet services in the market - PayTM, Momoe, PayUMoney, Mobikwik, Citrus Pay, State Bank Buddy, Citi MasterPass, ICICI Pockets, HDFC Chillr, Axis Bank's LIME, Oxigen, mRupee, FreeCharge ... may be more will be added in the list.

The popularity of these digital wallet services are increasing day by day, thanks to India's young population who are experiencing through internet revolution.

Once you downloaded the apk of JioMoney, you can install it without any hassle. Now after it's installed let's roll it.

JioMoney loading...

Now after JioMoney is loaded to run, you will have the welcome pages, yes pages as you can see the all the features JioMoney is going to offer to you.

These can be seen again from the Right drop down menu as Tour.

Now after all the welcome pages you go through, you can now skip it and jump in to the log in page.

On the next pages, you will be asked about DoB, Gender, Mobile No., setting password etc
Mobile will be verified with OTP.

JioMoney will ask you to set a mPIN for faster logging in and faster transaction.

Now you are ready to use the app. There are 6 main menu in the app.

1. Jio Payments - It is inactive. Probably from here you can buy any Jio products including voice/data/VAS packs once Jio is launched.

2. Recharge/Bill Pay - Includes your prepaid/postpaid mobile recharge/bills, electricity, landlines, insurance, gas and charity. The prepaid recharge section is pretty similar to PayTm or Mobikwik.

3. Pay at Shop - By phone no or code you can now pay in stores with JioMoney.

4. Send/Request Money - send money to person/bank or request fund

5. Coupons - There are some coupons on different categories, which can be redeemed. Coupons available for Dominos, Monginis etc popular stores.

6. Loyalty Cards - You can add Reliance One cards over there, but as the app is still in beta stage, whenever I go in to this section, the app restarts.

There are two options on the upper corner of right and left side - Right one is for your account settings and Left one is for App options including Inbox.

VERDICT: JIOMONEY is a nice app from Jio, but it is still in beta/in-house testing mode. So it's premature to comment on it.
