Bengali Remake List (2015-2016)

Back in 2011 I made a list of Bengali films who are basically Bengali remake of south Indian films.

Why I hate these remake?  Remakes are not bad, but just copy paste is not acceptable. Also Bengali culture is bit different than Telegu, Tamil or Kannada and that's why not all stuffs are funny or emotional to me.

2015
Herogiri - Balupu 2013
Amanush 2 - Naan 2012
Besh Korechi Prem Korechi - Loukyam 2014
Parbona Ami Chartey Tokey - Uyyala Jampala 2013
Aashiqui: True Love - Ishq 2012
Shudhu Tomari Jonyo - Raja Rani 2013

2016
Angaar - Appayya (Kannada) (2013)
Ki Kore Toke Bolbo - Miana 2007
Hero 420 - Maska 2009
Power - Power 2014
Kelor Kirti - Charlie Chaplin 2002 / No Entry 2005
Badsha: The Don - Don Seenu 2010
Shikari - Aadhavan 2009
Love Express - Venkatadri Express 2013
Prem Ki Bujhini- 100% Love 2011
Abhimaan - Attarintiki Daredi 2013

[Press Release] Vodafone Egypt Selects Openwave Mobility for Faster User Experience and Outstanding Mobile Video QoE

REDWOOD CITY, CA – September 6, 2017– Openwave Mobility, a software innovator enabling operators to manage and monetize mobile traffic, announced today that Vodafone Egypt has selected Openwave Mobility’s NFV-based download acceleration and encrypted video management solution to enhance subscriber Quality of Experience (QoE) and manage rising encrypted video traffic. With a customer base exceeding 40 million subscribers, Vodafone Egypt is one of the leading mobile operators in the Middle East.

Mobile data across the Middle East has been growing at a phenomenal rate and much of this is down to mobile video streaming.  As mobile networks carry increased traffic loads, subscribers can suffer poor Quality of Experience (QoE) including long wait times and video buffering.

“As the volume of mobile data continues to grow, we needed a flexible solution that can handle all traffic types and assure our users of a greater mobile data experience” said Osama Siad, Vodafone Egypt’s Technology Director.

Introduction to nextGen LTE : Gigabit LTE

Exploring the true potential of Gigbit LTE, US tech giants Verizon, Ericsson and Qualcomm broke the barrier of 1Gbps on LTE, as Qualcomm's press release notes on 21st September, 2017 on 21st August. This is industry first with commercial silicon and network infrastructure to hit over 1Gbps on LTE, 1.07Gbps to be precise.

The testing process used Qualcomm'x X20 LTE modem, and Ericsson radios and LTE software and utilized 12 LTE streams on three 20 MHz channels of licensed Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) spectrum, alongside 4x4 MIMO and 256-QAM.

The 1.07 Gbps speed was achieved using only three 20MHz carriers of FDD (Frequency Division Duplex using separate transmit and receive frequencies) spectrum, achieving new levels of spectral efficiency for commercial networks and devices.

In the begining of August (to be specific 2nd August, 2017), the same trio - Verizon, Ericsson and Qualcomm Technologies had touched astounding 953Mbps in a joint commercial network deployment in Boca Raton, Florida. The demostration used network components from Verizon including a cell site, hardware, software and backhaul; most advanced radio systems from Ericsson (micro Radio 2205 for LAA) and Gigabit powered Qualcomm's Snapdragon X16 LTE modem (based on Snapdragon 835 mobile platform).
